I have 1. 5 years of experience working with individuals with ASD and other neurodivergent needs, both in clinical settings and as a caregiver. My background in applied behavior analysis allows me to approach each client with empathy, patience, and a deep understanding of their unique perspectives. I love being a caregiver and value the opportunity to experience the world in new ways through the eyes of those I support. I have extensive experience with bathroom procedures, functional communication training, and using AAC devices. I am also skilled in supporting individuals through tantrums, redirecting self-injurious behaviors, and providing safety and reassurance while fostering independence. Each opportunity I have to work with neurodivergent clients helps me grow as a professional and caregiver, and I am grateful for every experience that allows me to make a meaningful difference in their lives.
