I am currently attending Austin Community College to become an early childhood (E-6) Special Education teacher, I plan to transfer to Texas State to finish my Bachelors degree in the year of 2022. I have experience through most of my schooling helping in the special needs classrooms and also a year of experience in an on-site (classroom) helping one on one with a child on the autism spectrum. Through my job at the YMCA, I have had a handful of kiddos that dealt with diagnosed delays (mental and physical) and also some that were in need of speech assistance due to speech delays. I have always had a passion and a draw towards helping special needs kiddos and would love to help any way I can while also gaining more experience and knowledge while doing so!
