Unlocking a student's unique potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With my two years as a special educaton assistant in an elementary school and two years as a substitute K through 12, I prioritize creating an engaging, patient environment where you feel empowered to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. I assess your individual learning style by actively observing how you interact with new material, allowing me to adapt my strategies through visual aids, discussions, or hands-on practice. When concepts feel challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and celebrate your small successes to build momentum. I believe open communication is essential for building trust and ensuring we meet your goals together. My favorite part of this work is witnessing that "aha!" moment when a complex idea finally clicks. I am happy to travel to your home for sessions, and I look forward to supporting your growth as we embark on this learning journey together.
