About Monique

Hello, my name is Monique! I am a middle school ELA teacher and local South Bay resident offering tutoring services over the summer. I hold a degree in English from UCLA as well as a teaching credential and Master of Arts in Teaching from UC Irvine. I specialize in bridging ELA curriculum between grade levels during the summer to help students make a smooth transition to the next school year. I can support with reading, writing, spelling and grammar at all levels from elementary to high school. I have extensive experience working with diverse learners, including gifted students and students with disabilities. I will develop a curriculum tailored to individual student needs and provide all materials. I am currently offering in-person tutoring, and I can come to your home.
