I'm a retired PT Assistant w/27 yrs. experience working w/special needs children, adults and seniors. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I'm a non-smoker, a pet lover, and I have a reliable car. I am easy going, patient and have a good sense of humor. I feel comfortable in new situations. And I truly enjoy helping people learn a new skill, experience a new adventure, or have a hearty laugh. I have worked w/many people who have helped me be a better person, therapist, and parent. Everyone wants to be engaged, feel loved, respected, and safe. I gained many skills through my volunteer work: Pop Warner Football: assistant coach for 7 yrs, Adaptive Design Associates: homemade adaptive equipment, Meals On Wheels: meals for seniors, Life Rolls On: surfing for individuals w/disabilities. I believe life is too short to let a day go by without laughter and finding joy. I offer kindness, humor and making the best of every day life. Lets find the joy together.
