I'm a retired PT Assistant from NY with 27 yrs. experience. I am kind and gentle, attentive and easy going, patient and love to laugh. I feel comfortable in new situations and w/new people. I will meet your loved one where they are. We can do puzzles/games, baking, exercises, run errands or I can be a good listener allowing them to share their experiences. I have experience with seniors with memory loss and mobility issues, personal hygiene and medication administration. I believe life is too short to let a day go by without laughter and finding joy. I am CPR (child and adult) certified and first aid trained. I gained many skills through volunteer work: Pop Warner Football: assist. coach 7 yrs., Adaptive Design Associates: homemade adaptive equipment, Meals On Wheels: meals for seniors, Life Rolls On: surfing for individuals w/disabilities.
