About Monica

I am a certified, kindergarten through 6th grade, educator who has been teaching for over 15 years. I absolutely love what I do! When I see a child understand a concept, it is so exciting for me. I am a patient teacher who understands that every child learns and comprehends at their own pace. I build confidence by breaking complex topics down into small, manageable steps and celebrating small wins. I listen closely to where a student feels stuck and instead of just giving them the answer, I help them think critically. Being a reliable and prepared tutor allows me to manage tutoring time well for your child. I can help with homework, aid in bringing your child up to grade level, or work with them to bump them ahead of their current level.
