About Monica

I'm a certified elementary educator with over 4. 5 years of classroom experience teaching kindergarten and 1st grade, and several years of tutoring students in grades Kindergarten through 3rd grade. I hold both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Elementary Education from Florida State University. I specialize in early literacy and phonics instruction, and number sense and math skills. I'm passionate about creating engaging, personalized lessons that build confidence and support every child's unique learning journey. There is nothing more rewarding than witnessing the moment a concept clicks and I feel so lucky to support those lightbulb moments every day!
