About Monica

I have experience working in a number of education settings both as an instructor and as a tutor, most recently as an instructor at the University if Minnesota, Department of Forest Resources. I have experience working as a tutor in the Academic Resource Center at Minnesota College North, Vermilion Campus, where I worked with students on a drop-in basis as well as regularly scheduled sessions one-on-one. I am an experienced lead instructor in forestry/natural sciences related topics and plant identification, and have provided academic mentorship and tutoring in English composition, algebra 1 and 2, introduction to art, and English literature courses. I have experience working with K-12 age children as well as undergraduate students and adult learners. For 9 years I worked as a part time nanny for a family with 2 children, aged 1 and 5 when I first started caring for them.
