About Shelby

Hello! My name is Shelby, I'm 28 years old and I absolutely love children! I am CPR, AED and First Aid certified and have a strong childcare background! Over the past 8 years I have worked as a nanny, night nanny and lead infant and toddler teacher. My time as a nanny has been primarily spent caring for newborns and toddlers, with most of the children being preemies with varying degrees of medical complexities. Although I am open and adaptive to each families needs and preferences I am primarily interested in utilizing caregiving approaches like attachment/gentle parenting, body neutrality, baby led weaning, safe sleep, etc! Overall, I value kindness, inclusivity, honesty and respect in my professional environment and seek out families who feel the same!
