About Monica

Hi I'm Monica! I am 32 years old and have always had a passion for care taking in all forms. I have two younger siblings, male and female, who I spent many hours babysitting while growing up. I went on to work as a personal care assistant for a girl with disabilities, and while I eventually pursued other careers, I circled back to one of my core passion, childcare! Currently I work at a co op of homeschooled children and absolutely love it. There are 10 children under our care, ages 4 - 10. I watch children in their homes as well. Naturally, young children hold a special place in my heart and I would adore the opportunity to care for children that are younger than my current work situation allows for but I am well versed in catering to all ages! My goals when working with children, aside from safety which goes without saying and is first and foremost, is getting them outdoors, using their imaginations, being crafty and feeding healthy snacks!
