I found my joy in companion care in 2014 after caring for both of my parents for 5 years. Bringing music, arts and crafts, games and the gift of gab to all my clients. Working with families to give them peace of mind while they have a few hours to themselves. Each person I have worked with for the past 10 years has had some level of dementia. I have come to realize how important it is to keep these unique minds stimulated. I treat every person I work with the respect and care I would give my parents. Monica won my heart the minute I met her. She immediately learned my husband's interests, abilites, and areas where he needed support. Every visit from Monica was fun as well as tailored to encourage my husband to use what skills he had. Monica was also very supportive of me, providing me with honest feedback as well as resources and ideas for my husband's future potential needs. I felt 100% safe having Monica stay with my husband.
