About Monica

From English to math to Spanish, I've tutored a variety of age ranges based on the family's needs and strengths. I'm full of study tips, tricks, and figuring out the best way to approach learning alongside your student in an engaging and productive way. I have volunteered in a community center and after school programs before, as well as some pro bono work with immigrant families, taught English and Christian Religious Education in Uganda for a summer, and have half a year of experience as a paraprofessional working with 4th-6th graders in English, math, science, and social studies. I'd describe my personality as engaging, productive, and out-of-the-box In my spare time, I love to coach boxing, play ultimate frisbee, go for walks along the river with my 8-year-old puppy, or curl up on the couch to watch a family movie or show!
