About Monica

I am a mother of two adult children and I have been working in childcare for 30 years. I worked in daycare for almost 7 years. I began as an assistant and ultimately became the infant program coordinator. I have taken several college courses in early childhood education. I have a lot of experience working with infant and toddler twins as well as a shared nanny for multiple families. I love being a part of helping an infant reach their developmental goals. I enjoy volunteering with a feline rescue, hiking and photography in my time off.

Monica has worked for us full time for the last three years taking care of our now 3 year old twins. We feel extremely fortunate to have found her. She has been loving and affectionate with my kids from the very beginning, and they look forward to her arrival in the morning. She is both a playmate and a guiding force in their lives. She has also done a great job of developing age appropriate activities at each step of their development, from arts and crafts to helping them develop basic skills. She has made sure that they get outside when the weather is nice, talking them on walks or to the park almost every day. She has managed handling two babies (now preschoolers) with ease. She is also extremely reliable, arriving on time every morning. The only reason she will not be with us next year is because our kids are going to school full time in the fall, which was a very difficult decision for us. All in all, I would give her the highest recommendation without hesitation.
