Hi! I'm Monica, Im 21 and currently getting ready to enroll in school to become a paramedic. I have been in childcare since I was 13 as well as studied early childhood education, I enjoy creating fun games and learning opportunities with children, especially ones that I learned during my daycare work. Such as singing songs depicting tasks, making clean up fun, working on the ABC's and Numbers. I don't normally utilize TV or movies unless it's bearing time to calm down for bed or nap. When I was at the daycare I worked with 18 to 24-month-olds and sometimes younger so helping them process emotions especially after a big meltdown is something I did a lot. Something else I do (for everyone even 1 time jobs) is I have "My Day Today" forms, I have one for infants, toddlers and kids (4+) and basically I just write what we did, ate, naptime, their mood and any other notes! As well as that I can do housekeeping as well as pet care along with meal prep! I hope to get to know you!!

Monica has done an amazing job with my daughter. There have been emergency situations where I needed her to care for my daughter and she has showed up on a whim so she is very reliable. She has looked after my daughter for long periods of time and has even had her overnight several times. She always shows up and doesn’t hesitate to bring things to attention like if my daughter seemed to be catching a cold, she would let me know. She is very hard working and very efficient.
