I was with my last nanny job for a little over 10 years March 2014 - June 2024 for 3 girls, and I also did housework there. I wasn't needed because my girls grew up. I still keep in touch with them, because we are family now. I also had other nanny jobs. I can give you the references. I was also employed for a construction company in Human Resources for 20 years, but I want to get back to taking care of kids. I have always loved working with children. I went back to college for Early Childhood Education, and I have 11 ECE units right now. I just completed: Intro to child development, child, family & community music & movement for kids. Monica worked for us for two weeks. Our daughter usually goes to daycare, but she was recovering from pneumonia, so we decided to keep her home for a while. Monica helped us during this time. I liked Monica because she was very professional (on time, clean, ready to work), sweet to my child and followed my directions to a tea. While my daughter was sleeping, she took upon herself to do some work around the house (folding laundry, washing dishes, putting toys away), things that I didn't specifically asked from her, but that were very helpful. It was my first time I hired somebody off Care.com and I was very reluctant, but I am happy to say Monica was a very good choice. I highly recommend her.
