I'm an experienced educator currently leading a self-contained special education program for grades 6-8 supporting students with emotional and behavioral disabilities. I create a safe, nurturing environment tailored to each student's unique needs, fostering a mindset change that encourages growth. Your student will feel capable, confident, and smart, regardless of their starting ability level. My background includes teaching in private preschool and public schools. After completing my degree, I taught fifth grade for two years, followed by three years in middle school. My degree emphasizes mathematics and special education, and I'm qualified to teach or tutor in all core subjects. I have extensive experience guiding students with autism, ODD, specific learning disabilities in reading & math, ADHD, and I serve as my school site's dyslexia designee.
