About Monet

Hello! I am a Spelman College and Michigan Stats University graduate with a background in teaching, tutoring, and working closely with children of different ages and personalities. While most of my recent experience comes from education, I've always loved being around kids and creating a warm, supportive environment where they feel safe, encouraged, and cared for. I currently work as a substitute teacher in Duval County, Florida, and have experience tutoring, mentoring, and volunteering with after-school programs focused on creative and engaging activities. I'm known for being patient, dependable, nurturing, and calm under pressure. Even while babysitting, I enjoy keeping children engaged through games, crafts, reading, and fun learning activities. I'm CPR trained, reliable, have my own transportation and am committed to creating a positive environment where children feel comfortable and supported.
