About Monesha

Working with kids has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I come from a family full of teachers. My grandmother owned a daycare school in the Greater Miami area, which I attended as a child. As I got older, I started helping her out in the classroom, and that's really where my love for working with children began. In high school, I spent a lot of my time volunteering in both my mom's and dad's classrooms. They were both teachers for Miami-Dade County Public Schools, and I learned so much just by being around them and seeing how much they cared about their students. After I graduated and started college, I began working as an interventionist for MDCPS. I tutored and supported students who were low-performing, others who were on the autism spectrum or had other cognitive challenges. I'm passionate about caring for children. I'm certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid, and I also have my CPR and AED certifications.
