Hello, my name is Molly. I am a 31-year-old certified Elementary Special Education Teacher with a strong academic and professional background in childhood education. I graduated with both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Childhood and Special Education from Manhattan College. I bring over 5 years of teaching experience with the New York City Department of Education, as the lead Special Education teacher in a 5th-grade classroom. I have an immense amount of experience working with special needs children. Before I started teaching I was a caregiver to a little with severe cerebral palsy. He was nonverbal and handicapped. I fed, bathed, dressed, and changed his diaper. I communicated with him through assistive technology and work with him on his motor skills. I now work with students who have a variety of disabilities such as autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, etc.
