When it comes to working with individuals with special needs, I am a variety of experience. I have worked with Autism, Down Syndrome, Seizure disorders, Hearing/visually impaired, as well as developmental delays. Within my resume, I have been a direct care professional, life skills trainer, special education paraeducator, behavioral interventionist, and job coach. My experiences in these fields have taught me useful tools such as positive behavioral management, sensory stimulation, g-tube feeding, medication management, and more. I have found a passion in helping individuals who live with disabilities and pride myself in the work I've done. Overall, it has made me a more patient, understanding, and empathetic person.
