I just finished my sixth year of teaching 8th, 9th, and 10th grade English and would like to spend my summer off from school helping others take care of their own fluffy family members. I have taken care of diabetic pets who needed medications administered and I was the primary caretaker of my cat who lived to be 17 years old. Living with an older pet has certainly given me practice with being gentle and supportive of animals that need help taking care of themselves, so I do feel comfortable if you have an older pet as well!
