I have 19 years of experience as a babysitter/nanny. I have experience w/ children of all ages, but I have focused my career on newborns through preschoolers. I have experience w/ twins. I am a major advocate for car seat safety, as well as other safety issues regarding children. My former nanny children call me the "safety queen". I am constantly reading articles & researching in order to keep up w/ current safety standards & recs. I am also experienced w/ babywearing, breast milk & formula feeding, weaning from bottles, potty learning, & baby led weaning. I believe children are just tiny humans who need love, nurturing, & patience in helping them learn about the world. I believe in giving them the space to feel their big feelings while also providing boundaries & consistency. I am also a big lover of getting outside to explore the world & learn (parks, zoo, aquarium, music classes, etc) & highly value freeplay & I believe children learn the best when their play isn't directed.

Molly has worked for us for the past three and a half years as a full-time nanny for our 3.5 and 1.5 year-old children.  She has been such a blessing to our family over that time.  First, she is a complete professional.  She is absolutely punctual, reliable, and conscientious.  More than that, she has helped raise our little ones to be happy, kind, well mannered, and well adjusted little people.  Molly herself is kind, polite, cheerful, and absolutely loves kids.  I could not recommend Molly more highly.

We really liked Molly. We even hired her. She accepted the position and told us she'd be giving her current family a month's notice. We accommodated the amount of time needed for her to give notice. She then sent me a text stating that she was going to remain with her current family. While we respect this, we found that to be incredibly rude. Molly would have been an amazing fit and we were rather bummed by this. Letting other parents know that she seems to be inconsistent with her word.

We interviewed Molly for a Sat. job on Fri.  After she met with us she emailed us declining the job.  I would recommend interviewing her early so you will have options.

Molly is awesome! My little is a " Momma's Boy" but instantly took to Molly! She worked for our family for a few months for after school care and has continued to babysit even after the job ended. She is dependable and and very sweet.

A few years back, my wife and I were looking for a full-time nanny to fill a live-in position and watch over our then 1.5 year old son.  We were quite apprehensive about who could possibly fit the bill.  My wife has a master's degree in early childhood and family development and is as protective a mom as any.  We obviously wanted the best for our son - as any parent should.  Molly's on-paper qualifications were a good introduction to her character, and after speaking with her on the phone a few times and a bit of background research, we decided to pay for her expenses to travel cross-country from her home of southern California to Charleston, South Carolina.  We took her in as a family member and she absolutely did not disappoint.  She established early on a fantastic rapport with us, and to this day I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone considering a live-in nanny position.  She has a keen sense of insight into child psychology, which my wife agrees is quite difficult to match without extensive experience in childcare.  Molly has the experience, and moreover she has a knack for getting to understand your parenting style.  Molly was able to carry out the nurturing environment and boundaries we wanted to establish for our son.  My wife and I could not have been more pleased with the level of professionalism and attention to detail Molly brought to our family.

We maintain a high level of respect for what she is able to bring to the families she has been involved with and enthusiastically recommend her to anyone and everyone who are considering her as a child care professional.  I really can not speak highly enough of Molly and her innate penchant for child care.  She is a true professional.

We remain grateful for the time Molly worked with our family. She brought a perfect balance in her child care approach:  offering her own initiative and understanding of a child's developmental needs, interests, and ability while also offering total compliance with our needs as parents. Through her actions, Molly clearly made safety a priority, though our child only recognized the fun. Having a Master's degree in Child Development in addition to being an overprotective mother and Molly's former employer (Molly was a live-in Nanny to our 1 year old son), I feel that I am in a unique position to comment on her qualifications in working with children. Over the course of the time that I have known Molly I have seen her interact with children of all ages in a variety of situations and consistently I have seen children flock to Molly. She has a natural ability to connect with children of all ages on their developmental level.  

My observations of Molly are that she is a mature, kind, caring, dedicated, professional, trustworthy, loyal, introspective and passionate adult who makes good and careful decisions. She adores children, and is a natural with them. The world needs more people like her, especially working with children. Molly also has more maturity in her right thumb that I see in most people twice her age. She will always remain close to our hearts and as far as we are concerned she will always be a part of our family. She will always be welcomed in our home and have a place over her head and a warm place to come to regardless of where life leads her or where she chooses to go.

Molly was a great caregiver for our one and two year old kids. She was always on time and very dependable and safe with them. The kids loved being with her, our house was always picked up when we came home and the kids were happy. She does a great job of redirecting kids and getting them to listen to her. Our jobs are very demanding and we could always depend on Molly to jump in when we needed her. I would highly recommend her to any friend or family member. We wish we could still have her as a nanny but a change in our job situation did not allow it.

We interviewed Molly for a one-time sitting opportunity but the opportunity itself changed and we didn't hire off the site at all. However, Molly was an excellent candidate and we have placed her on our "go-to sitters call list." We are eager for the next opportunity where we could hire Molly to watch our kids.

Molly was a great sitter and the kids really enjoyed her. She was incredibly flexible and we can't wait to use her again.

We continue to be grateful for the time Molly worked with our daughter. Molly showed great initiative keeping abreast of fun developmental activities and age appropriate safety measures as our daughter grew - all balanced within the goals and schedule of our family. We met Molly in her capacity as a professional nanny, and we continue to value her as a family friend.
