About Molly

I have a natural rapport with elders. I have been drawn to work with this population throughout my life. This is what moved me to be a Care Taker for an elder woman in her home and Care Provider for elder veteran who had diabetes and Parkinson's. I accompanied him on daily nature outings, Dr. visits and field trips, recorded his poetry, arranged gallery shows, prepared meals, cleaned house, and managed medications. As a Recreation Aide, I performed daily sensory exercises for clients, inviting them to participate in individual and group art projects, recreation, storytelling, gallery shows, mural painting, memory making and sharing. I orchestrated music from vitriol and nature; offered hand massages; hand holding, and aid in self care, such as nail painting, hair brushing, & letter writing. As a celebration of life, I arranged gallery show of elders' portraits for the community to enjoy. I am a serious and compassionate worker with the heart and work ethic to make a difference.
