If there were leagues for babysitters/nannies, I would most definitely be in the major league! I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. I've babysat all ages of children ranging from 3 months to 15 years old, and up to 6 children at one time. There are multiple families where I have babysat their kids through their entire childhood and have watched them grow up! I have always loved children. One of the biggest reasons why I think I connect so well with them is that I am very young at heart, energetic, and love life... just like kids! My passion and love for children led me to becoming an elementary school teacher. I am a 4th grade teacher currently, but I've also taught 5th grade and 6th grade. I like to be around children because they give me the scope of life that can sometimes get ignored or forgotten about as an adult. Ironic how little, tiny humans (with hardly any years of life experience) are the ones constantly reminding us what life is ALL about!
