Mebs is the best nanny we have ever had. She is beyond wonderful. Our experience with her has exceeded all expectations. She has been the nanny to our now 10 month old for four months. We are moving states so we sadly will miss her and wish she could stay with us forever. She stands out from others and here’s some examples. She is always engaged with our son- singing, talking, reading, feeding, playing and learning, etc. She is intuitive and proactive. She picks up on what our son needs quickly and communicates well. She never has her phone out- in fact she leaves it charging on the kitchen counter as soon as she enters, but she’s easy to get ahold of as she sees my texts on her watch. If it’s your preference to receive pictures and updates through the day she is great about that too, which we love. She was the quickest nanny onboarding we ever had. She will ask how you like something done and she’ll always do it your way. She even goes above my expectations in cleaning and sanitizing his bottles and toys. We were actually mid-crib aversion when she started and she was able to get our son to nap in the crib the very next day after a two week stint of contact naps. She always arrives early and when it’s time to leave she still ensures that his toys are tidied up, his bottles are washed, and any toys that he had outside of the house are washed and cleaned. If he is due for a nap right at the time she should be off she will still patiently put him down for a nap without a second thought. We use the huckleberry app and the change off between us takes two seconds as she logs everything into the app. She will look at the app before she arrives to better understand his schedule or she will ask when I have not yet updated his wake up time or feeding in the app. In sum, she brings a lot of energy - our son lights up when he sees her. She’s caring, patient, and loving. We can trust her alone with our son and even better she takes a lot of stress away because not only is he cared for extremely well but she follows his schedule and all baby chores are done upon my arrival home.
