For the past year, I have been helping a family who has a child with special needs. I would bring him to/from school, make him meals, and help him during his ABA Therapy. I have experience dealing with meltdowns, vocal and physical stimming, and assisting with communicating. I am passionate about interacting and caring for those with special needs because I believe everyone deserves kindness and compassion. I experienced living with a relative with special needs and the bond we have grown through months of patience and extra TLC is what keeps me so cheery to this day.
