About Miya

I was able to attain my CNA license while attending high school. My training consisted of working with the elderly. I have had extensive training and experience in the field of certified nursing. My duties include but not limited to washing, feeding, giving companionship, and getting to know the patients I have cared for years.. I started out with helping take care of my 65-year-old grandma for 7 years until she passed. My journey went on as a home care CNA. I then started working in Kenansville at the rehabilitation facility. I was also able to work as a Healthcare Technician in Raleigh at Central Prison. The reason I chose nursing was that I am naturally an empathetic, compassionate and nurturing person. I always felt that these skills carry over in my duties while working as a CNA nurse.
