I have been a nanny for the last 16 years. I have cared for children from 0 to age 10 both PT, FT and live in. In my time as a nanny I have cared for up to three children under the age of five. Before I was a nanny, I spent 10 years as a HS classroom math and chemistry teacher in NorCal. I was privilege to work with full classroom of mainstream students diagnosed with mild autism, many with ADHD all the way up to AP Calculus. I stepped away from the classroom to pursue other interests but have continued tutoring all abilities, though mostly ADHD students who by the time they started with me were years behind their peers to students who were bored for over 30 years. I just truly enjoying making a positive impact in the children that are under my care whether it be in a nanny or tutor roll. Every child I have been given the opportunity to care for or to work with has taught me to continue to be creative, patience and empathy.
