About Miya

I am a compassionate childcare professional dedicated to supporting children's growth and well-being. With a solid background in early childhood development, I create a safe and engaging environment where children feel valued and encouraged to thrive. I started working with children at 14 as a babysitter for a family in my neighborhood, caring for their newborn and 2-year-old. While in Texas, I also worked at my church with infants under 1-year-old. I joined a Christian private school as an extended childcare worker in 2023, and I spent my first year with 2-year-olds and my second year in the VPK class, gaining valuable experience in early childhood development. Families should know that I am passionate about working with children and always approach my role with care and dedication. I strive to make every child feel safe, valued, and supported, treating them like part of my own family and being someone they can trust for guidance and comfort.
