Over the past three years I have helped care for my grandparents by cooking meals, cleaning, and visiting. This past July 2024 my Nextdoor neighbor's son asked if I could check on her throughout the day. Dolly was 93 and I had done work on her house in the past. For about 4 weeks I would check on her 4 times a day. I would cut a banana for her in the morning, then check back and make her lunch and sit with her, I would check back at dinner and bring her some food then do her dishes. I also took care of her cat and other household duties. I cared for her until she was taken to the hospital and passed away. I hold a degree in film from Pitt and always wished I had captured some of my grandma's stories before she passed. As I sit with your loved one I'd be honored to hear their stories.
