About Misty

Caring for children and watching them learn, grow, and discover the world has been my passion for more than 20 years. I'm a Colorado-certified teacher and mom who brings professional teaching experience and a genuine love for nurturing children into my caregiving. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, loved, respected, and encouraged to explore. I enjoy hands-on, age-appropriate activities like reading, sensory play, puzzles, crafts, music, outdoor adventures, and learning through everyday experiences. I'm patient, upbeat, and responsive, and I'm comfortable following your family's routines, boundaries, and parenting preferences. I hold current CPR and First Aid training and can assist with children's meals, tidying up, and age-appropriate activities. Clear communication with parents is important to me, and I'll keep you updated in whatever way works best for your family. I'd love the opportunity to become a trusted, supportive caregiver for your family!
