About Misty

Hi! My name is Misty, and I'm an EMT-B, BLS and CPR certified caregiver, and mom with years of hands-on experience caring for children. I raised two wonderful boys with mild autism, which taught me patience, understanding, structure, and compassionate caregiving for children with different personalities and needs. I currently work in EMS on a 24/72 schedule, which gives me several days off each week for childcare availability. I'm available for babysitting, date nights, overnight care, and recurring positions depending on scheduling. I enjoy creating a calm, safe, and supportive environment for children of all ages. Families describe me as dependable, attentive, nurturing, and easy to communicate with. Safety and staying calm under pressure come naturally to me through my medical background.
