My experience with children includes working as a Site Director for a YMCA as a part of their Before and After School program, and as a teaching assistant in a Montessori school. Being the second oldest of six children in my family, I started family babysitting at the age of 13, and have always been around children. I'm currently the aunt of 9 nieces and a nephew whom I LOVE to take places and spend time with. I know what it means to help out in the family. Our house was never quiet and there was always something exciting happening. I've also worked as a summer nanny for a family who then shared me with another family. When I worked as a nanny, I really enjoyed taking the children to their various lessons, the pool and to their friends' houses for "play dates", or simply staying in and reading and/or doing crafts.
