About Misty

I have had the opportunity to care for older adults, both in personal and professional settings. My responsibilities included assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility support, and companionship. I also monitored vital signs and ensured a safe and clean environment. Through this experience, I developed strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills. I learned how to adapt to different health needs, including those with conditions like dementia, arthritis, or limited mobility. More importantly, I learned to build trust and provide emotional support, which I believe is just as essential as physical care. Taking care of older people has taught me empathy, responsibility, and the importance of dignity and respect in caregiving.
