About Miriam

I love working with kids! Imagining alongside them, and being able to provide a safe space where they can grow and learn about the world, themselves , and how special they are. I've been providing child care services for the past 4 years. This past summer I specialized in a roll at Outward bound. This is a program which specializes in taking kids into the outdoors and teaching practical and emotional introspection skills. I've cared for ages 4-18. I love helping kids learn what they are capable of and encouraging their imagination . I enjoy cooking nutriteous artful meals and organizing/cleaning spaces. I have transportation. I know some basic ASL. I am half dutch and bilingual. I have my WFR certification. In my spare time, I like to rock climb, travel, write, run, cook, backpack and paint. My skills include communication/compassion, helping kids understand their feelings, creative thinking-coming up with new fun and exciting activities keeping kids engaged and motivated to explore.
