About Miriam

While having no paid experience, I did work in a hospital as an intern doing basic Certified Nurse Assistant work, and I helped my dad care for my mom until she passed. I am patient and firm and gentle and kind, and I believe in the dignity of the older community. I have training in how to lift people from a seated position, work with wheelchairs and walkers, and to catch people if there's a fall. I have my own reliable transportation, a minivan, which is easier to get in and out of than a sedan or truck, and a pristine driving record. I understand medical terminology and would be useful to have at doctor's appointments. I am hardworking and have grit and do not shy away from helping keep people clean and assist them in using the bathroom. Additionally, I am friendly and good at conversation, and good at taking care of animals.
