I was an educator for over 20 years, so I have been caregiving for my whole adult life. More recently, in addition to teaching, I was a companion/caregiver for an elderly client for over 2 years. Mostly I provided meal prep, basic housekeeping, transportation to appointments/errands or scheduled outings. We also spent time playing cards and making trips to Starbucks for hot chocolate :) I have recently finished my teaching career and I am looking for other employment opportunities where I still feel helpful and stay busy.
