Hi! I'm a tutor who enjoys helping students feel more confident and capable in school. I've worked with elementary and middle school students on reading, writing, math, executive functioning, and homework support. I currently tutor at Dixon Middle School and also work with students on literacy using the Barton Reading and Spelling System. I've taught and supported students from many different backgrounds, including English language learners, and helped elementary students stay on track with school during remote learning. I studied English and Political Science at Wellesley College and hold an MFA in Creative Writing from FDU, where I teach Composition. My goal is to make tutoring patient, encouraging, and practical-helping each student find strategies that work for them.
