For the past 20 years I have been a teacher in Early Childhood Education. Recently I have cut back my hours to pursue work as a senior companion. I am happy to provide medication management, transportation to and from medical appointments, light housekeeping, meal preparation, companionship and conversation. I have about 6 years of experience with seniors. I was my mother's caregiver who suffered from Alzheimer's disease and cancer. It is my belief that Seniors are a gift to us, not people to be taken for granted. They have great stories and experiences to share with us.
