About Miranda

I'm a dedicated childcare professional and Elkhorn Area High School graduate with a deep passion for fostering child development. My journey began with Child Development I and II, where I earned certifications as a mandated reporter and completed training in head trauma, safe sleep, and shaken baby syndrome. I gained hands-on experience as a one-on-one aid for a child with special needs, which sparked my desire to support children in more individualized settings. After working in a local daycare, where I became CPR and first aid certified, I realized my true calling is providing personalized, trust-based care. I believe children thrive when they feel understood and safe. My approach focuses on experiential learning and play, helping children explore their environment and ask questions. I am committed to replacing traditional punishment with positive discipline, ensuring every child feels supported as they grow and learn.
