About Miranda

Bringing joy and nurturing care to children is my passion. For the past three years, I've dedicated myself to providing a safe and stimulating environment for children aged newborn to eight years. Last November, I began working for Hampton City Schools as an Instructional Assistant in a self-contained special education class of children K-2. I'm currently working summer school, which is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday. My college degree complements my hands-on experience, allowing me to engage children in age-appropriate activities, from outdoor sports and puzzles to educational games. I am patient, creative, and friendly, and I prioritize open communication with you, following your preferred method. I am very comfortable enforcing household rules. I am also CPR and First Aid certified. I have a car and am comfortable with pets. I would love to bring my calm and supportive energy to your family.
