About Miranda

! I'm a college student who enjoys helping kids build confidence in school. Over the past three years, I've volunteered my time tutoring elementary-aged students in math, English, and science. I love finding different ways to explain concepts so they make sense for each child and helping them feel proud of their progress. I'm patient, encouraging, and believe learning should be a positive experience. In addition to tutoring, I have extensive experience working with children through childcare and education settings. These experiences have taught me how to keep children engaged, adapt to their individual needs, and create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
