About Miranda

Hi! My name is Miranda and I'm so excited to connect! A little about me, I graduated from UIUC with a Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science and a minor in Disability studies, and am currently an incoming SLP grad student at DePaul University. I love working with children, specifically on their communication and development- I aim to inspire them to communicate their thoughts and needs, and encourage them to become the happiest, best, and most independent version of themselves. Through my experience as a paraprofessional, nanny, and babysitter, I have worked with children with a variety of behavioral, physical, and academic needs. I understand and celebrate every child's uniqueness and am flexible to encourage them to thrive in whatever way is best for them. I look forward to hearing from you!
