About Miranda

Hello, I'm Miranda and thank you for considering me as a potential caregiver for your family. I know this is a big decision. First things first, I have well over a decade of experience caring for children of various ages in various roles. Recently, I have been working as an instructor at a top Ivy League university where I also tutored writing. I have been trained as a DONA doula, in infant, child and adult CPR and first aid through the American Red Cross. I am also qualified in pet first aid and CPR and I will love your pets as family. I'm a dog lover! I am familiar with multiple approaches to child development and teaching including Montessori, Reggio and Waldorf. I speak both English and French and basic ASL (I love using baby sign language). My philosophy is that you know your child and family best and I aim to support you in your choices for your little ones. To do this best I prioritize open communication and trust above all else.
