About Miranda

My name is Miranda and I live/grew up in Rockaway! I am currently in school studying to become an English teacher. I am passionate about working with children and families to help create a warm, supportive environment. I am available during the day until around 3, with flexible scheduling up to three weeks notice (I work part-time at grocery store). I'd describe my personality as outgoing, patient, and motivated. I like working with kids because they are our future! I want to help your children be successful and confident. I'm looking for a job that is flexible while I am in school and close to Rockaway. I started working with kids when I was in middle school. I have experience as an assistant dance teacher, substitute teacher, and student teacher. In my spare time, I like to read, listen to music, and dance. One thing you should know about me is I am an artist so I would love to share this passion with your kids! My skills include tutoring, activity planning, and deescalation.
