I'm looking for more than a list of tasks to check off - I'd love to become someone your loved one genuinely looks forward to seeing. I've always had a special place in my heart for older adults. I enjoy their stories, humor, wisdom, and simply spending time with them. I believe someone can need help without being made to feel helpless. My experience is hands-on and personal. My great-grandmother lived with advanced Alzheimer's, and I later helped care for my grandfather through strokes, memory loss, and the final stage of his life at home. Those experiences taught me patience, attentiveness, flexibility, and how much the little comforts matter. I'm happy to help with companionship, appointments, transportation, errands, shopping, meal prep, light housekeeping, organization, outings, pets, and other non-medical needs. Most importantly, I want your loved one to feel respected, safe, understood, and comfortable at home - and your family to feel confident someone dependable is there.
