Hello! I am 29 years old and I have over a decade of experience working with children. I moved here in February due to my husband's new job at Portland State. I am also a first time mom to a 4-month-old baby boy. I currently am a part time nanny M-Th here in the Portland area for a 6. 5-year-old and a 3. 5-year-old, but the family is moving, so I'm just helping them out until mid September. I bring my baby with me. I worked for this family up until I had my baby and was off for 4 months. Prior to Portland I was a full time nanny for 1. 5 years for a family with two girls! They were 3. 5 and 16 months when I moved. I loved working for them! They became family. I only stopped working for them because of my husband's new job opportunity. I love spending time with children, taking them to the park, doing activities with them and watching them grow. I am looking for a family that is okay with me taking my baby with me. Miranda was our nanny for almost two years, and we absolutely loved having her! She started with us when our oldest was about a year and a half old and stayed with us after our second daughter was born. Miranda is caring, patient, dependable, and so great with kids. Our oldest loved doing crafts and activities with her, and she regularly took the girls on outings and found fun things for them to do. We trusted her completely and were even comfortable having our oldest stay overnight with her for a sleepover. Miranda became a really important part of our girls’ lives, and we were so sad to see her go. She only left our family because she relocated out of the area. We would absolutely recommend Miranda to another family. Our girls loved her, we trusted her completely, and we would have happily kept her as our nanny if she hadn’t moved!
