About Mira

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With many years of experience tutoring, acting as a college-level TA, teaching ballet to all ages, and now as an adjunct professor, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your unique learning style by observing how you interact with new material, allowing me to tailor my approach using visual aids, hands-on activities, or guided discussions. When concepts feel challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect the subject matter to your personal interests to maintain momentum. I prioritize clear communication to build trust and ensure we are always working toward your specific goals. Whether we are tackling math, science, or test preparation, I find it incredibly rewarding to see you achieve academic success. I look forward to partnering with you to make your learning journey both productive and enjoyable.
