Hi! I'm Minjae (they/them), and I'm a passionate lifelong learner excited to serve my community. I graduated from Hamline University in 2024 and currently work for Saint Paul Public Schools as an elementary teaching assistant. I also coach middle and high school quiz bowl during the school year. I largely work with 1st-3rd graders to improve their math and literacy skills, but am familiar with most topics up to and including general college courses. I also regularly assist students who speak multiple languages and/or have learning/developmental disabilities. As an educator, I emphasize cooperating with students to find what works for them rather than assuming a one-size-fits-all approach. We might try two or three explanations before we stumble across one that clicks, and that's fine with me! In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, longboarding, and playing in a community band.
